The Animal ISO Standing Chest Press

This is THE pressing exercise every gym needs.  Pressing from a standing position helps to eradicate many of the problems associated with the bench press. Although the standing press can be performed with cables, the massive demand on core stability drastically restricts the amount of weight you can lift, which makes it almost impossible for stronger individuals to target and overload their pectorals effectively. However, the Animal ISO Standing Chest Press enables you to press in the same horizontal movement plane, but the added back support allows for much heavier loading than pressing with cables. It’s also considerably safer than bench pressing since no spotter is required, and there’s zero risk of getting trapped under the bar.
